Open letter to Professor Tecola Hagos

I read your article titled, Breaking Political Barriers and Political Taboos very carefully.  The Presence of Amhara’s in Ethiopia was the reason for TPLF creation and fighting against Derg. Every Ethiopian knows that now thanks to Gebremedihin Araya’s interview. I am not saying that you did not know about it as you were the author of Ethnic cleansing of Amharas You were Meles’s advisor in crafting the current constitution and you wrote enormous volumes of your hate against Amharas (Mehal Sefaris).  From your current article, I understood that your enemy was Meles and not TPLF which means that you are the primary person who authored the ethnic hate and cleansing against Amharas. As a result, you wanted to convince us that we should work with Hailemariam, a person who is dead while alive and do not have any moral value. You are telling us to work with him as if we do not know who controlled the government and who orchestrated the ethnic cleansing. Let me ask you one question: What would happen to you if the people who were evicted and killed from North Gondar (Wolkait),  Benishangul and Southern regions were Tigreans? I raised this question because I entirely know about your work and how much you are ethnocentric-Tigrean ultranationalist. Ethiopian people are organized from North to South and East to West to dismantle this government and that was your fear which encouraged you to write this crippled article of yours. You are just worried and are designing ways of the survival of TPLF ethno-centrist regime, looter anti-Ethiopian agent who sold our port, give thousands of kilometres of land and killed millions of people. I remembered Siye Abarha in 1991 saying that “Amharas are acting as if they are sleeping now but are not dead yet and we have to fight against them until they are dead”. You were supporting such an individual as if he is the only one who was imprisoned by Meles. Have ever cared about the other people imprisoned, killed, and tortured and evicted?. Where is your moral value?

I wanted to tell you that Every Ethiopian is very happy on the construction of dams and other infrastructure developments more than your arrogant and ethnocentric view. Construction of dams on Abay was not objected because Meles started it. Construction of dams on Abay river was even envisaged during Menelike II.

1. Ethiopian people will not EVER support TPLF like criminals to cover up their looting and ethnic cleansing strategy and you argument of churches receiving from criminals or using electronics made by previous criminals is irrational to say the least.
2. Where is the money which was collected so far? It is used by TPLF regime to empower its EFFORT business empire and kill and dismantle Amharas from Ethiopia
3. The reason that the present site of construction was chosen was to deliver power to Egypt and Sudan. The cost of delivery of power to Ethiopians regions will be untouchable and this will give TPLF to empower its EFFORT. This makes you again very happy

The present Amharas which were evicted living in this region was because they will be beneficiaries of the dam if they were un-evicted. Their land was given mainly to TPLF supporters mainly Tigreans once evicted
